The monument to Giovanni Segantini is located in Piazzale Giovanni Segantini in Arco. The square is located in the back of the collegiate church. The monument is located at the beginning of the gardens of Arco.
The sculptural work was made by the sculptor Leonardo Bistolfi. It was inaugurated on 24 October 1909, ten years after Segantini’s death in Schafberg, Switzerland. At the inauguration of the monument to Giovanni Segantini was presents his daughter Bianca.
In Arco there is a small monument where there was the house of Segantini and also a location where the painter, at 4 years fell into a ditch.
