Stranfora

Stranfora is a medieval neighborhood located under the Castle of  Arco. The name comes from the Latin trans forum, across the street. The district of Stranfora consists of streets and alleys under the fortress where the manor of Arco stands. Along Via San Bernardino, one of the streets of the district of Stranfora, is the San Bernardino da Siena church.

Along the medieval quarter there is a beautiful wash house and on the left the Porta Stranfora that leads to Via Fossa Grande the road that goes up to Laghel. In front of the Porta Stranfora is the archducal park.
