Descrizione
The capital of the four faces is located in Bolognano, a hamlet of the municipality of Arco at the foot of Monte Stivo. You can reach it with a nice walk through olive trees and vineyards starting from the ancient church of San Floriano.
The capital of the four faces is thought to have been erected in the seventeenth century. The time and the weather and the lack of care had deeply compromised the structure. A restoration work succeeded in recovering the pillars and windowsills of the niches. Also recovered the stone roof. In the four niches, the frescoes represent the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection
