Descrizione
Bozzoni Chapel is located on the main road that leads from the village of Varone to the junction to go up to Tenno. The chapel was built between 1859 and 1861 by the Bozzoni family. Family Bozzoni, entrepreneurs and owners of a large area of the resort at ‘Foci’ between the municipalities of Riva del Garda and Tenno. In the mid-sixteenth century they built the old paper mill near the Varone waterfall where the paper mill is still located. The project of the Bozzoni chapel is the engineer Tonini. The chapel is entitled to the Immaculate Virgin. It consists of a central body, with a square plan, on which the presbytery with a quadrangular plan is grafted. Laterally there are the sacristy and a room with the confessional and the staircase to access the choir.
