Descrizione
The hermitage of SS. Giacomo and Silvestro al Monte is located halfway along the coast of Monte Stivo. It is also clearly visible from the valley floor. The small church with the ancient hermitage is located in a small meadow surrounded by woods. The hermitage is the hermitage of SS. Giacomo and Silvestro al Monte, better known as the church of San Giacomo.
How to get there
From Alto Garda take the road that goes up to Monte Velo. You get to Salve Regina. Continue on foot for about 20 minutes on a forest road that crosses the forest. You get to the hermitage through a meadow.
The location is unique. A beautiful balcony overlooking the Sarca valley and Lake Garda.
