The Hermitage of San Paolo is located on the road to Prabi, the old road that connected Arco with Ceniga. Along the road there are signs to the hermitage. The hermitage of San Paolo is a magnificent example of sacred art with frescoes both inside and outside.
To reach it you climb into the woods and you are in a beautiful place. The hermitage, initially it was a small church with a frescoed ceiling. Next to the church was built a small room that housed hermits for a long time. During the war period, the room used by the hermit was used by the inhabitants of the area as a refuge from air raids.
Around the hermitage there are several climbing routes.
We recommend a nice walk from the center of Arco. Return or from the same road or reach the Roman bridge of Ceniga and back from the bike path.
