Incisioni rupestri a Pianaura

The rock carvings in Pianaura are from the medieval period. Pianaura is a locality that is located above the hamlet of Massone. Pianaura can be reached with a nice walk or by bike or car.

The site is located, going up towards the town of Pianaura, facing east. The rock engravings they mark a probable itinerary of local pilgrimage linked to the figure of San Lorenzo. There are several signs in the rock: trie, bill hooks, grilles, crosses in radiated circles, cross licenses and footprints.
