Palazzo San Francesco

The current building, already the seat of the judicial offices of the Pretura of Riva del Garda and today of the Agenzia delle Entrate, is located on the site of the ancient Franciscan convent, whose ancient structure now remains the cloister and bell tower.

The restoration now visible dates back to 1908, five years after the demolition of the church of San Francesco. Tradition has it that it was Francis himself who founded the convent or his native follower of Riva, the blessed Pacifico Riccamboni born in 1190.
